The first picture demonstrates how pleasant it is for children to brush their teeth. Many children dread brush their. Many children dread brush their teeth. Children need to be sensitized and not be fearful about why they should brush their teeth. Recently my 7 year old son was engaged at his school on the importance of oral health and he came home even telling us about the foods that are good for his teeth.
The advocacy message in the second also speaks to oral health. The video is very informative and helps to educate children and their parents on the importance of oral health. The video presents very clear techniques on how to care for your teeth. Much emphasis is placed on other areas of health such as pre-natal and immunization but many parents sometimes do not insist on visiting the dentist twice per year.
Judy,
ReplyDeleteGreat videos! I too chose an oral health video. The different types of videos are so interesting to see and fun to kind of “pick apart.” Oral health is such a huge part of a healthy lifestyle for kids and these videos are great resources to show kids how easy and fun it is! Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteSince I can remember I have been afraid of the dentist. I cannot tell you what happened that made me this way when I was younger but then as I grew older I did have horrible experiences. I take my children to the dentist every 6 months and I start when they are very young. I want them to see that it is ok and that we want to keep our teeth healthy in order to stay healthy. Saying that I have to say that I need to improve on my parenting skills when it comes to brushing their teeth. I always enforce the morning brush but at night time I become too lax. These are great ads to share in all classrooms and with all families.
